I explained the assumption trap, where our brains automatically fill in missing information about our partner’s behavior. I described how we interpret actions like leaving a room or giving short answers as having specific meanings, though these interpretations are usually false. I noted that autistic spouses are especially vulnerable to this trap because their strong pattern recognition skills can make their assumptions feel convincingly true, even though detecting patterns is not the same as reading minds.

Why Your Brain Fills In The Wrong Story! #autismmarriage

Stop falling into the assumption trap where your mind fills in missing information. Learn how communication gaps impact your relationship.

We often fill in the blanks when someone uses fewer words than expected, leading to interpretations that may not reflect reality. This video breaks down why the brain creates these narratives during conversations and how this dynamic plays out in daily life. Understanding this cognitive process is essential for anyone wanting to improve clarity and reduce conflict with their partner.

Specifically, we look at how this impacts partnerships involving neurodivergent traits. You will learn to identify common signs of ASD in husbands that often lead to miscommunication. By recognizing these patterns, you can pause before assuming intent and foster a more grounded connection.

I don’t have spouse or partner but, this YouTube channel popped up in my algorithm a while bank. I also watch stuff on make and female polarity issues. From a more traditional mindset. It’s a thing to be mindful about especially if you’re around a neurodiverse in the real. It also goes both ways about my own observation check lists as well. 🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿partial chromosomal 22 deletion is not autism but it has similar traits. I’m glad I finally started talking about it openly on the summer of 2023 on here. Before that I was not entirely open about the full condition. On here it otherwise but it has helped me be more open about it otherwise as well. 🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿

I stress the part about partial chromosomal 22 deletion issues having similar traits but not being exactly the same especially with sexual intimacy. I am one of those partners that will prefer sex daily when possible and often times in the morning. When I have a relationship. As I have said before. I have my solo sex routines down and have for quite a while. Just some notes. 🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿
