I loved this movie for a few reasons. Let me begin by saying, I haven’t seen the first two of these but I am going to after this. Not sure why I hadn’t seen them. Equalizer marathon today. The second equalizer was released just as I was starting to learn my personal astrology. Even though o was into action films before that but even more after learning about the mars in Aries in my third house and Venus in Aries in my fourth house energy.
I loved the man on fire energy in it with Denzel and Dakota like years later vibe. Even though it’s a different film entirely. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
They only part about any gender talk from what I noticed was Denzel a tea and the waitstaff gave him a latte cuz men have coffee and women have tea. That was it for gender talk lol. I liked the minimum emphasis of that stuff cuz it is being do shoved down throats of folks everywhere in Hollywood especially. For this reason though, I can predict it will be kind of not as popular based on that info.
I loved the setting. After high school graduation I went to triedte italy with my momma. I had never been outside the USA and I loved the energy of it. This film reminded me a lot of that.
I loved the food vibe as well in the film. I think one of the parts that resonates with me most was the part about the kitchen arson. Especially considering what I’m going through with Jupiter retrograde energy. It had a lot of south node Aries stellium sixth house energy in sidereal Astrology for me which is past life energy. It wasn’t just a kitchen. It was professional chef stuff ik the movie. It was most definitely arson.most certainly. Dramatic yo the point he was going to try to save stuff from the flames and sobbing but they held him back. Extremely traumatic I’m general but especially to witness a portion of it happening and not being able to stop it. 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
I can see why some today would find this movie too old school but that’s exactly what I like about it. I saw each movie of that series after the first one with the same conclusion that the original was better. I only saw that one on vhs video though. I wasn’t born yet when the first one was released. But considering the aesthetic timing of this one and commercialization of Halloween in general which I have never been a fan of how it’s done …(witch with Wiccan ethics vibes but it’s just a personal opinion on that. I tend to celebrate Samhain more than Halloween but I appreciate both. I have been a Samhain type since I was a kid. My fave grandpas birthday is on new year so I always celebrated Samhain as new year and have January 1 to honor his memory. That has always been about him for me especially when he was still alive. I’m not gatekeeping it in any way)it’s a thing I’ll need to think about a bit but I’ll probably see it. It doesn’t have the remake vibe of it but also considering the war on certain religious thoughts in the USA just puts a barf mode on it aesthetically for me. As an ex Catholic. Its s but hypocritical in energy considering what’s going on in the USA with that. It’s not exactly on Halloween but, close enough for aesthetic exploitation energy. Just some thoughts. It’s an unpopular opinion. I’ve always preferred the original even more than the sequels of those. Anything with too much computer special effects especially is a turn off for me in a film.
