Seattle was awesome also cuz it got me in the mode to just walk more. I do have an exercise machine at home that I need to put to use more. It’s one of those that doesn’t need electricity but is powerful stuff. Also good to know, being sober as long as I have and also vegetarian as well has been a hood thing about colon health. I had an uncle on my dads side who died of colon cancer cuz he didn’t get checked and was a dork about it. He was a meanie head anyway though about a lot and not a fave. Just thinking out loud a bit . It’s a good thing that I have never been a cigarette smoker and very little weed. Mostly just cbd gummies for anxiety 💕💕💕💕💕💕when colon cancer is in your family history especially, it’s a thing you don’t ignore. There was a colorectal polyp so there will be another procedure for that. They weren’t flipping out but still one of those things you don’t know about till after. Often times it ends up being nothing but my dads wasn’t and he is a colon cancer survivor. Good news is it probably isn’t colitis and can most likely be zapped quickly. My momma said she has had a few of these where it was nothing. It takes 8 years or so to develop for an idealist timing . That procedure will be in a few weeks. I gotta look at full moon and new moon stuff for schedule stuff for that. I avoid those whenever possible for anything like that but sometimes I know you can’t do that. Whenever possible though I do. I‘m doing research on this and getting excited to thinking possibly I could still see ZZ Top doing a live performances at some point! I know they have been searching for one to fill Dusty Hill‘s shoes but….I’m thinking that is a thing that is in the works based on what Billy Gibbons is up to! I need to check out their documentary at some point soon when I can. I’ll look in on that today more . I’m excited about the possibility even! They have been a major influence for me since Florida days! Southern blues stuff . I’ll probably faint when I do get to see them perform live in a great way! This was a band that Randall and I connected with a lot as far as music influences go . I have never seen a live in person show of them yet . Two fave albums from them are Tres Hombres and Fandango . I guess I could say my sun music genre I am drawn to the most is blues/rock . It is most definitely a category . I love all forms of blues but I really love the electric plugged in feel of blues rock. It’s always had my heart . I first got turned in to the top through seeing them being covered by various folks in Florida especially . So, It’s not Just my opinion about that about being turned on to them by various folks . I know with my taste in music the southern part probably shows a lot in choices that might not be as thought about in other locations as much . I never went on a ZZ Top hiatus . Blue Jean Blues is one I never heard anyone else cover but I felt drawn to it a lot. Especially for rhythm being easily doable for me considering how I prefer to practice vocals so far. Corn chowder tonight and grilled cheese!
3 and 1/2 cups corn,
4 chopped potatoes skinned.
1 red pepper chopped
1 red Pepper chopped,
1 carrot chopped
1 celery chopped
2 Tbsp olive oil. Sauté carrots, celery and onion . Add corn and potatoes. 1 and 1/4 cup veggie broth, 3 cups water and 1 cup of milk and half teaspoon of paprika. It’s a base I work with various versions according to veggies on hand.
