I said it before, and I’ll say it again: The documentary Amy is a wonderful watch! I love how it doesn’t demonize Blake but shows them as they were. Part of the head butt I had with Tricia was liking Amy Winehouse and the Grateful Dead (Jerry Garcia specifically cuz of the drug use) she was a recovering drug addict but still an alcoholic. She couldn’t stand anything about drugs at all even the mention of Amy Winehouse or Jerry Garcia. Just before the first head butt with her Halloween weekend was the day I showed her my Grateful Dead box I was making for myself. With her alcoholism and the fact that she didn’t even bother to think that any of that might have affected me in any way about why I am as I am about sobriety and having been around my grandpas alcoholism….it is just a thing to think about with boundaries in future. If they can’t at least respect some music, then it is not gonna work out as a friendship. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕I had an uncle who died of a drug overdose (Moms brother) so, I have been empathetic about this from an early age and I think that seeing what he went through also with failed rehab attempts, is a thing that kept me away from a lot of that. His drug of choice was heroin. 💕💕💕💕💕💕and yes, I’m drawn to the song rehab by Amy Winehouse for this reason 💕💕💕💕💕💕I got to see that on the big screen when that was released at an independent art house theater which was amazing to be able to see 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️she probably saw me as an abuser type cuz of my views on sobriety cuz she is still so dependent on alcohol as therapy to an extent she did therapy as well but was still extremely alcoholic to the point that she didn’t deny it 💕💕💕💕💕💕I have never been forceful about my views of sobriety on others. That prejudice is all their own. I have always been respectful of the choices either to or not to 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕there’s a lot of space issues on various levels with just this stuff. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕it’s difficult to fully explain how much one can feel like another species for being sober 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕and yep, lots of potential song material in just this 💕💕💕💕💕💕maaaaan….a dream show to attend in person would be dead and company jazz fest in Nola. I’ll probably just be able to stream it through. Birthday wish type stuff to be able to attend it in person though. Universe has its way with this stuff at times so, ya never know!
