I am thankful to have had my dad in my life as much as I did. He was conservative in Oregon well before any of this era but always had his defenses up about that sort of thing especially. I know having been around him as much as I have, it helped influence a lot in how I go about a lot. Scorpio dads and Taurus daughters. Just having some respect for the strength within.
