Been working on runic oil blends for myself. A simple one is marjoram and chamomile in a base oil of your choice. Sol oil. Work with to invoke the energy of sol rune. It feels great to be working with Norse energy again regularly. There are power struggle issues in the Heathen community (that is another word for Norse Pagan that I identify with)as well but the trick is about the best way to win with toxic people is to not do the head butt thing and stay in your own lane not being dictator type about anything. Your path is your path alone to walk! Jus sayin! For me, it is very much an ancestral thing as my paternal side is half Nordic. Not just for Norse vibes or aesthetic! My paternal grandpa is Swiss German and my paternal grandma is German. My grandpa was born in Bern Switzerland and my grandmother was born in the USA but her mom was extremely German. I met her before . Even the Hindu stuff isn’t just for aesthetic purposes cuz of my mommas initiation into Vedanta tradition. Another one I got into working with during Tennessee days is Skadi. Even before knowing about all the Aries energy in my sidereal chart as well as in my tropical chart, I was always drawn to warrior type goddess energy. Pondering a Hagal rune oil. Pondering possibly equal parts star anise, cloves and cinnamon in bass oil of choice. . Hagal has multi purpose effects. It’s an energy I need to work with more and be less intimidated by it. Runes are my preferred method of petition paper in a sense is a way to describe how to work with them.
